At Halesowen Inclusive Employment College our objective is simple.

We aim to teach people typically 18+ with employment skills and then find them meaningful employment within the West Midlands.

Our plan is to achieve this for as many people as possible.

We Are a Social Enterprise: We don't have shareholders to pay!

We are not Halesowen College, which provides many fantastic courses and apprenticeships for people 16+.

Any profit we generate is invested back into the organisation or
community projects, which we believe will help to support people into jobs.

As an Inclusive Employment College, we provide further education for people with disabilities,
typically 18+, and od any working age. We specialise in employment education and skills learning.

Around 22% of working age population of the UK during 2020 reported that they were disabled ie. living with an illness or condition for 12 months or more.

The number of unemployed people with a disability has since increased 5.4%.

We recognise from personal experiences, that the barriers to employment may be invisible but they are still very much present today. The Equality Act 2010 was the legislation that makes any discrimination against a protected characteristic against the Law. Disability is one of those protected characteristics.

We will work by supporting people to overcome these barriers.
